We don't have a lot of information about them apart from the fact that they're a cult, and while cults are generally 'evil' there are exceptions. I believe the Cult of the Lionheaded Spider was touched on more in the books but they are a minor faction either way. I've never even heard of this cult until now( and didn't know she even was a member of it). I'm not sure I missed something but this seems new to me.
